Mediastation has created interactive digital signage to help promote the new Ultrabook™ technology in retail stores across Europe
Conceived and developed by Mediastation, this new breakthrough marketing application designed to promote the Intel inspired range of Ultrabooks™ is being deployed in retail stores across Spain, Turkey, Germany, France and the UK.
Using a combination of state of the art animation and innovative gesture control, the system is easily used by members of the public to explore the Ultrabook™ and find out about its key features in a fun and engaging way. Intel representatives in the stores are also using the system to present and entertain customers.
Peter Gleisnner, Intel’s Sales Director of Europe Multi-National Companies commented: “Intelligent digital signage has the potential to truly invigorate retail spaces, enabling the retailers themselves to offer a better and more tailored experience for shoppers. The computer and management capabilities that come with such solutions make digital signage an investment that can deliver real returns.
The Ultrabook concept uses the very latest 3D depth sensing cameras from Panasonic combined with Omek Interactive and software design from Mediastation to deliver a dynamic way of using gesture motion which is helping to convert more sales through engaging and entertaining customers.”
Adding a software design perspective, Mediastation CEO & Client Services Director, Chris Savage said: “We are delighted with the positive response this latest application has had. We have to consider all sorts of variables in this space; the system needs to work 24/7 and be understood quickly by an unexpecting and untrained public. This project has been successfully delivered thanks to our fantastic creative team and support from our technology partners at Panasonic and Omek.”
Mediastation will also be assisting Intel in demoing the application at the International CES Show in Las Vegas from January 10th to 13th where it will form a centrepiece part at a Breakfast showcase retail briefing and meeting.
